Safety Navigation support system by AI analysis

Safe Navigation is the top priority of Meiji Shipping because only Safe navigation can ensure Safety of Life and protection of Environment. One of our LNG vessels is fitted with AI based Collision Avoidance system by ORCA AI System. The AI system combines visual data from the 6 cameras including thermal cameras with information from other equipment such as AIS*, RADAR, GPS, Gyro, etc. The thermal imaging system displays visual information even during poor visibility such as in the night, during rain or fog. This AI analyzed and consolidated information is available to the Navigators on a single screen which enhances their timely decision making.
